Your story,
beautifully told.
A web design studio building polished, modern websites for small businesses and startups — named after the literary character I share a name with.
Named after Atticus Finch
I was named after Atticus Finch. My parents loved To Kill a Mockingbird — the quiet integrity of a man who did the right thing not because it was easy, but because it was right. They gave me his name hoping some of that would stick.
When it came time to name the studio, it felt obvious. Finch Studio carries that same spirit — honest work, no shortcuts, and treating every client’s project like it matters. Because it does. The name is personal to me in a way most brand names aren’t. It’s not just a studio name — it’s my name.
My parents named me after a character who believed in doing the right thing quietly. I try to build that way too.Origin
From building my own to building for others
Finch Studio grew out of my own experience building landing pages and MVPs for ventures like SettleFlow and Signal Response. I’d gotten genuinely good at turning ideas into clean, professional web presences, and other founders started asking for help.
I realized I could turn that skill into something real — a design studio that gives small businesses the same quality of web presence that usually costs five figures, at a price that actually makes sense.
Homepage — hero section with serif typography
Services — transparent tier-based pricing
Work — design inspiration showcase
About — the story behind the name
Process — transparent client workflowDesign that does a job
Every Finch project starts the same way: with the story the client wants to tell. The design wraps around that narrative. Fast turnaround, because most clients are founders or small teams who need to move quickly. And a focus on conversion-oriented design, not just aesthetics — every page should have a job to do.
Story first
Start with the narrative the client wants to tell, then design around it. The story shapes the layout, not the other way around.
Fast turnaround
Most sites ship in 2–3 weeks. Founders and small teams need to move fast, and the process is built to match their pace.
Conversion focus
Every page has a job. Beautiful design means nothing if it doesn’t guide visitors toward the action the business needs.
How a project comes together
Transparent, collaborative process from discovery to launch
Built on integrity, empathy, and honest workThe intersection of design and shipping
Finch Studio sits at the intersection of my design sensibility, my understanding of how startups ship, and my belief that good digital presence shouldn’t require a $20k agency retainer. It’s scrappy, intentional, and personal — just like the name.
Finch Studio is the intersection of design sensibility, startup speed, and the belief that every business deserves a beautiful web presence.
